In a SAN server farm, unlike a traditional server, data is not stored in internal hard drives. They are stackable and upgradeable to virtually an unlimited amount, up to thousands upon thousands of Terabytes (TB) of hard disk space. If we see an increase in demand, we will just stack additional hard drives into the SAN, thus enabling us to provide you with unlimited storage.
Along with limitless data storage, we are also connected to multiple GigE ports at our data center. Every single server is connected to two GigE (1000 Mbps) lines in our modern routers. This means each server has a really big pipe for traffic for our customers’ websites to flow through.
With today’s advancements in technology, we believe in NOT limiting a customer’s success because of their bandwidth usage. As long as you adhere to our Acceptable User Policy and use your account for web hosting purposes, you are welcome to use as much bandwidth as you like.
